An oven is a device that uses a heating wire interlayer to heat and dry objects. It is suitable for baking, drying, heat treatment, etc. in the range of 5~300°C higher than room temperature (some higher than 200°C), and the sensitivity is usually ±1°C. There are many models of ovens, but the basic structure is similar, generally composed of three parts: box body, electric heating system and automatic temperature control system. 1. The oven should be placed in a dry and level place indoors to prevent vibration and corrosion.

2. Pay attention to the safe use of electricity, and install a power knife with sufficient capacity according to the power consumption of the oven. Choose enough power wires and have a good ground wire.

3. For the oven with electric contact mercury thermometer thermostat, the two wires of the electric contact thermometer should be connected to the two terminals on the top of the box respectively. In addition, insert a common mercury thermometer into the exhaust valve, (the thermometer in the exhaust valve is used to calibrate the mercury thermometer of the electrical contact and observe the actual temperature in the box) to open the hole of the exhaust valve. Adjust the mercury thermometer of the electrical contact to the required temperature and then fasten the screws on the steel cap to achieve the purpose of constant temperature. But you must pay attention not to screw the indicator iron out of the scale when adjusting.

4. When everything is ready, put the sample into the oven, then connect and turn on the power supply, the red indicator light is on to indicate that the oven has been heated. When the temperature reaches the controlled temperature, the red light turns off and the green light turns on, and the constant temperature starts. In order to prevent the temperature control from failing, it must also be looked after.

5. When placing the test product, it should be noted that the arrangement should not be too dense. The sample should not be placed on the heat sink, so as not to affect the upward flow of hot air. It is forbidden to bake flammable, explosive, volatile and corrosive items.

6. When you need to observe the samples in the studio, you can open the outer box door and observe through the glass door. However, it is better to open the door as little as possible, so as not to affect the constant temperature. Especially when the working temperature is above 200°C, opening the box door may cause the glass door to be quenched and ruptured.

7. For ovens with blower, the blower must be turned on during the heating and constant temperature process, otherwise it will affect the uniformity of the studio temperature and damage the heating element.

8. After the work is completed, the power supply should be cut off in time to ensure safety.

9. Keep the inside and outside of the oven clean.

10. When using, the temperature should not exceed the maximum operating temperature of the oven.

11. In order to prevent burns, special tools should be used when handling the test product.
